Patrick Monroe was born and raised in Southern California, and attended high school in Irvine. He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with honors. For eight years, Mr. Monroe held management positions in both small businesses such as BBC Enterprises, Inc. and Fortune 500 companies such as Ingram Micro, the world’s largest distributor of technology products.

After gaining valuable business experience, Mr. Monroe attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he received a Juris Doctorate degree with honors in Trial Practice and International Finance. During law school, Mr. Monroe worked as a law clerk for Pite Duncan, LLP, one of California’s largest real estate and bankruptcy law firms.

After graduating law school, Mr. Monroe interned at Qualcomm with the in-house legal department where he worked on state and federal tax matters, as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Monroe then worked as an associate attorney for the Rancho Santa Fe Law Group, APC where he continued to gain valuable experience on tax and corporate matters.

In August of 2009, Patrick Monroe established his own law practice on the principle that clients deserve superior service and exceptional value. His practice is focused on the areas of tax, business, and corporate law. He represents taxpayers before the IRS and the various California tax agencies in audits, appeals, and litigation. He also represents corporations and businesses in a variety of matters including business entity formation, governance, contracts and related documentation, transactions, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Monroe specializes in helping clients find creative and effective ways to advance their interests while minimizing risk.
